Wet'n'Wild Toronto (formerly known as "Sunshine Beach" and then Wild Water Kingdom ) is a water park in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. Opened in 1986, the 100 acres (0.40 km 2 ) complex hosts numerous attractions, including many waterslides, wave pools, lazy rivers, four-lane paths, and two sparkling children. Since becoming Wet'n'Wild Toronto, the park has built a stronger family focus and has eliminated a number of bars and food vendors within park boundaries.

1980s

The water park was opened in 1986 with a children's water park called Dolphins Bay with several Splash Pads, Dry Playground, seven water slide kids and a wading pool.

1990s

The delayed competition from Canada's Wonderland water park, Splash Works, affected the addition of a large waves pool in the Wild Water Kingdom in 1992. This wave pool is Canada's 4th largest behind found at Wild Water Works in Hamilton, Splash Works in Canadian wonderland. , and Calypso Water Park in Ottawa

In 1995, the Air Liar Empire added two water slides to Cyclone and Devil's Drop. They also built a lazy river. Royal Air Liar installed hot tubs and added batting cages and mini golf course in 1997. More slide built and many food service chains like Pizza Pizza and Mr. Sub is partnering with Wild Water Kingdom.

2000s

In the early 2000s, many new water attractions were added to the park including Midnight Express, The Abyss, and Nightrider. In 2008 the hot tub was moved. Throughout the late 2000s, the Air Liar Kingdom focused on expanding their saltwater attractions and in 2009 the Wave Pool was installed to be filled with saltwater that became the first of its kind in Canada.

2010s

Newly added bars and the Air Kingdom announced their first mascot "Hugo the hippo." BeaverTails is opened in the garden as part of the dining options. In July 2012, a new zip attraction called Face Drop was added. First of its kind in Canada, Face Drop has four 1,200 feet of cable that can reach speeds of 50 km/h.

In May 2015, the Air Liar Kingdom announced that it will be closed for the 2015 season while undergoing major renovations and expansions. The water park remains closed during the 2016 season for continued renovations but the sports complex and the golf driving range stay open.

Premier Parks, LLC, the operator of several properties in Canada and the United States, acquired the Wild Water Kingdom in July 2016. They announced a complete rebuilding, this is the second consecutive season of Air Liar Closed. In December 2016, the park was renamed Wet'n'Wild Toronto to be matched with the sister park. The new expansions include renovation and renaming most of the old slides, plus five new slides and two new kiddie attractions. They reopen the park on June 30, 2017, after several peeks.

Hosted event

June 2012: The Water Castle held their first "Beach Club Festival", a beach-themed party of 18 which lasted until 3am. This is an annual event until the closing of 2015.

August 10, 2013: Air Liar Kingdom holds an event called "Course O" based on US Marine Corps fitness training, endurance, strength, speed, and stamina. It is the only Canadian training designed by and led by the former US Marine drill. Sgt instructor. Tony Austin.
