Bun Bars is a candy bar manufactured by Pearson's Candy Company from Saint Paul, Minnesota and is available in the United States. Originally made in 1920 by Wayne Bun Candy Company and later purchased by Clark Bar, Pearson took the brand in 1998. Pearson acquired Bun Bars partly because of the similarity in making their own Bun and Nut Goodie. Although the two products are very similar, they still have different recipes and ingredients that make each one unique.
Bun Bars has one of three flavor centers (maple, vanilla, or caramel sea salt) covered in peanuts and milk chocolate without salt. When it was first purchased by Pearson in 1998, a sense of maple and vanilla was available, and then caramel was added to the queue. Regardless of its name, Bun Bars is not a stick at all, but is actually round, flat disk. By 2015, the caramel taste is converted into caramel sea salt.
