Frederick Law Olmsted National Historic Site is the United States National Historic Site located in Brookline, Massachusetts, a suburb of Boston. Frederick Law Olmsted (1822-1903) was recognized as the founder of American landscape architecture and the nation's leading garden maker in the 19th century. In 1883, Olmsted moved his home to a suburb of Boston and founded "Fairsted" , the world's first full-scale professional office for landscape design practice. Over the next century, his sons and successors expanded and perpetuated Olmsted's ideals, philosophy and influence.

The site is located at 99 Warren Street, in the Green Hill section of Brookline. Olmsted bought Clark's homestead, a federal farmhouse in 1810, in 1883, to be near his frequent collaborator, H. H. Richardson, whose home and office were nearby. Olmsted and his son John Charles renovated the house, decorated the house, and moved the barn closer to home, and in 1903 added the office wing to the northwest of the main house. Olmsted family members occupied the main house until 1936, when Frederick Law Olmsted, Jr. moved to Elkton, Maryland, rented out the house to the tenants. Olmsted Brothers corporate offices continued to stay on the wing during this time, even though the business also declined. Company members reoccupied the house in the 1960s, making major changes to the original landscape of the property. This property was acquired by the National Park Service in 1980. The ground has been restored to c. 1930 appearance, restoring many Olmsted landscaping.

Park resources include the restored historical landscape "Fairsted", and the design office (which remains unchanged from the days when Olmsted company activity is at its peak) housed within an office complex of nearly 1,000,000 original design records detailing jobs in many American the most valuable landscapes, including the US Capitol and White House, the Great Smoky Mountains and Acadia National Park, Yosemite Valley, New York Central Park, and whole park systems in cities like Buffalo, Seattle, Boston, Louisville and Montreal Olmsteds also played an influential role in the creation of the National Park Service, which now owns and maintains the Olmsted site.

Frederick Law Olmsted National Historic Site is open to the public. The Park Service offers guided tours in the grounds and office buildings.
